About

Сreative group BLACKMEAT is the creative union of two artists Pavel Lyakhov and Konstantin Tarasov. Firstly they meet at the festival "All shades of darkness"(http://www.pavel-lyakhov.ru/rus/evse-ottenki-tmi1.html, which was organized by Pavel Lyakhov's "Dark Arts Centre" in February 2010.

Next time they meet at the "MINCE" exhibition, where the installation " Shit-house of Death"made by Konstantin Tarasov and the triptych "Emptiness" by Pavel Lyakhov impressed the guests of exhibition very much.

The appearance of the creative group "Blackmeat" In consequence of cave exhibition brutal darkart "ПOD"("Under")which took place in February 2011, the creative group has appeared. It is considered that the project "ПоD" is the first exhibition of modern dark art which took place in a cave( the exposition is still there) which literally means "Under ground". In spite of its expressiveness and blackness the project is concerned with actual social problems. The art works in the mysterious atmosphere of an ancient quarry make you feel dually: on the first hand taking a glance on an art-object in the light of a flashlight you feel consternation , on the other hand the arts make you think of the tragic way of mankind evolution and try to find answers on eternal questions...
