Exists a legend, that at this top there is no time was lost nine манси (local indigenous population). There is other legend about a flood when hot water has flooded all around, except for a place at top of mountain, sufficient to lay down to the person. But mansy, found here a shelter, has died. From here and the name of mountain.
One more mention of mountain is connected with destruction of group of 9 tourists under supervision of Igor Dyatlova on February, 1st, 1959. This event is connected, more likely, with confidential tests of bombs of volumetric explosion, than with ancient legends about mountain...
As the person was in those places and even alone looked at stars with Kholat-Chakhl, I shall tell that places unusual but not malicious.
